Acting together for a living and shared mountain

“1/ Which key action did you take part in, and which aspect interested you the most?
As soon as I joined, I had the privilege of participating in the 10th anniversary of the Cluster Montagne. The event not only allowed me to meet a large number of members in one evening, but also gave me the opportunity to interact with professionals from very different backgrounds, highlighting the diversity of the cluster. On this occasion, we were able to attend a fascinating conference on a topic that is close to my heart in the development of our company Ecoload: biomimicry.

2/ How do you optimize your membership and network within the Cluster Montagne?
My main objective in joining the cluster was to expand my network among decision-makers in the mountain industry in order to raise awareness of Ecoload, our products, and solutions. The events organized, both in person and online, help me present our offer, explain our expertise, and propose customized solutions to my interlocutors in a less formal way than a traditional sales approach.

3/ A daily routine?
I quickly check the emails I receive from the cluster, and if the topic interests me, I dig deeper into it.

4/ Your greatest satisfaction?
I actually have two major satisfactions from being part of the Cluster Montagne. The first is the combination of good times, business, and personal enrichment: I save time, increase efficiency, all while enjoying a friendly atmosphere. My second huge satisfaction was realizing, when looking for a supplier, that the Cluster Montagne team was able to help me beyond my expectations.”

I am very happy to have participated in these 3 days of visits and exchanges on the ground with the stakeholders from Saint-Lary, Peyragudes, and Baqueira (Spain).

ALPES INGÉ, a subsidiary of the Montagne Ingénierie group, deploys its expertise in civil and geotechnical engineering in the fields of natural risks, mountain development, and classified installations. Our engineering company is committed to ecological transition because we believe that everyone has a role to play. That’s why we joined the French Convention of Companies for Climate at the beginning of 2024, and I participated, alongside the Cluster Montagne, in a collective intelligence workshop in partnership with Mountain Riders as part of the ‘Zero Wild Waste Mountain by 2030’ project. The objective? To develop an action plan aimed at eliminating wild waste on construction sites in the mountains.
Our goal in participating in this initiative is to draft a specification for project owners and contractors to minimize and optimize waste management on mountain construction sites. This collaborative work will bring together each player’s expertise and needs in service of the sector! The program includes questioning, discussions, and ultimately, working on the solutions available to us! Definitely worth trying out!
