“1/ Which key action did you take part in, and which aspect interested you the most?
As soon as I joined, I had the privilege of participating in the 10th anniversary of the Cluster Montagne. The event not only allowed me to meet a large number of members in one evening, but also gave me the opportunity to interact with professionals from very different backgrounds, highlighting the diversity of the cluster. On this occasion, we were able to attend a fascinating conference on a topic that is close to my heart in the development of our company Ecoload: biomimicry.
2/ How do you optimize your membership and network within the Cluster Montagne?
My main objective in joining the cluster was to expand my network among decision-makers in the mountain industry in order to raise awareness of Ecoload, our products, and solutions. The events organized, both in person and online, help me present our offer, explain our expertise, and propose customized solutions to my interlocutors in a less formal way than a traditional sales approach.
3/ A daily routine?
I quickly check the emails I receive from the cluster, and if the topic interests me, I dig deeper into it.
4/ Your greatest satisfaction?
I actually have two major satisfactions from being part of the Cluster Montagne. The first is the combination of good times, business, and personal enrichment: I save time, increase efficiency, all while enjoying a friendly atmosphere. My second huge satisfaction was realizing, when looking for a supplier, that the Cluster Montagne team was able to help me beyond my expectations.”

Our mountain industry is undergoing a transformation and constant evolution. Joining the cluster and actively participating in the various ‘network’ events was an obvious choice for MBS. Tip #1:
Make yourself known
Being a member of an organization like the Cluster Monagne is the first step. The association ensures visibility for all its members: through directories, the website, social media, press appearances, etc.
Tip #2:
Dedicate time to your professional network
Becoming a member of the network is not enough, you must participate in its activities and get involved. The Cluster Montagne organizes one or two actions per week, reserved for its members. It’s impossible to attend them all. Choose the action that best suits your needs.
Tip #3:
Delegate, share, and disseminate information to the right people in your company
A business owner cannot attend all professional meetings. They must delegate this task to employees who are specialists in their field. The network information should serve the business leader and be passed on to the relevant employees.
Tip #4:
Follow the news on the collaborative platform MyClusterMontagne
There is an internal communication platform for the cluster, MyClusterMontagne, accessible to employees so that information can be spread as widely as possible. It’s a daily routine to adopt in order to follow what’s happening, what could be of interest to you, and what deserves your attention.
